I served in the USMC in a company called 1st Anglico from 1988 to 1992. When I got medically discharged in February 1992, I was still attempting to figure out what I wanted to do to make a living. I had a little severance pay once I left and randomly decided to invest in a 1993 American Eagle Gold Bullion coin. At the time, I paid about $360.00 for it. Ever since this time, I have had a passion for all types of investments, so I started following this coin as it increased in value over the years.
I've been following investments for about 29 years. So, of course, all assets are important to me, but Precious Metals have a special place in my heart.
What shocked me was in 2020, the value of Gold hit an all-time high of $2,058.40. As I'm posting this, the current spot price is $1,796.80 (12/2022). These prices transformed me from someone just curious about Precious Metals to someone who is now a Gold enthusiast. I've learned enough and written about it to have a progressive conversation with anyone about this topic. Feel free to comment on Precious Metals under any of our posts. I don't claim to be a know-it-all in this space, but I can answer many of your questions and give you the kickstart you may need. Happy investing!
